A prom(s) is a musicfestival in Europa in which classic music is combined with some popmusic. They try at least 350 years of music history to play with full orchestra and choir, each concert ending with "land of Hope and Glory". The european version is based on "as far as i Know", the Last Night Of The Proms" in England. "The Last Night of the Proms is the traditional closure of the Proms which is a serial classical concerts ( with community singing) in "The Royal Albert Hall " in London. This version ends with "God save the Queen" In belgium it started in 1985 in holland in 1991 Over the all these years some very known artists did participate as: Alan Parsons, Sting, Joe Cocker, Deborah Harry, James Brown, Roger Daltrey, Midge Ure (ultravox),Meat loaf, gary Brooker, Chrissie hynde, Simple Minds, UB40, Live and Paul Young for example.
